This guide explains how to set up and modify the basic preferences for your Tec.Delivery platform

These settings affect all aspects of your system, including the admin dashboard, merchant interface, and customer applications.

Accessing Preferences

Navigate to: Configure > General Settings > Preferences

Available Settings

1. Currency Settings

  • Base Currency: Select your operational currency

    • Ensure compatibility with your payment gateway

  • Currency Format: Choose how prices are displayed

    • Example: $10.00, 10.00€, ¥1000

2. Time and Date Settings

  • Time zone: Set your operational time zone

  • Time Format: Choose between:

    • 12-hour format (AM/PM)

    • 24-hour format

  • Date Format: Select the preferred date display

    • Example: MM/DD/YYYY, DD/MM/YYYY

3. Distance Settings

  • Distance Unit: Choose between:

    • Kilometers (km)

    • Miles (mi)

4. Location Settings

  • City Configuration:

    • Enable to definition specific service cities

    • Manage delivery zones

    • Set city-specific parameters

5. Social and Engagement Features

  • Product Sharing:

    • Enable social media sharing

    • Note: Available for website only

    • Not supported in mobile apps

6. Rating System

  • Customer Rating:

    • Allow merchants to rate customers

    • Helps maintain service quality
